Naturopathy is a system of health care that combines a traditional approach based on thousands of years of practice, with a modern approach that incorporates recent advances in scientific research. It is a holistic system that takes into account physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
When assessing the health of a patient, Naturopaths recognise that the whole person must be treated in order to have a lasting effect.
Naturopathic medicine recognises the body as a self-healing organism and Naturopaths help to aid the healing process using an eclectic dispensary of herbs, vitamins, minerals, homeopathy and nutritional medicine, whilst also incorporating counselling. During the consultation, treatment options are assessed to see which modalities best suit you and your lifestyle. All treatments are tailored specifically for each individual aiming to establish and maintain optimal health. Naturopathic consultations not only assess and treat your presenting complaint, they also help to restore balance to your entire body leaving you feeling great!
